Happy Halloween from FiberLync. October is Cybersecurity awareness month. This coloring book “Gizmo the Internet Guard Dog” was created by NTCA (The Rural Broadband Association) to guide kids though staying safe and secure online.
What can you do to keep your kids safe online?
Be involved in your child’s online activities.
Keep access to the internet in an open area. Keep devices that can access the internet in high-traffic areas of your home to help monitor the activity.
Set rules and warn about dangers. Make sure your child knows the boundaries of what they are allowed to do online.
Implement parental controls.
